We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department at our Honda dealership in Morton Grove. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of automotive service quality. Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the service department, including workflow management, technician production and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and automotive industry regulations.
Develop and implement strategies to increase departmental efficiency and profitability.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.
Collaborate with other Service Manager for strategic planning and balanced division of workload.
Manage and control costs effectively.
Train and mentor technicians to uphold quality standards.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Automotive Service Manager or similar role within a dealership environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
Knowledge of Tekion dealership management software is a plus but not required.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Automotive technical background is advantageous but not mandatory.
