We are a busy independent automotive repair shop looking for an experienced service advisor / service writer to join our team. The service advisor is responsible for assisting customers, creating repair orders, communicating with technicians, and helping customers understand recommended repairs and maintenance for their vehicles.
Responsibilities include:
Greet customers and assist with vehicle check - in
Create estimates and repair orders
Explain repair recommendations clearly to customers
Communicate with technicians regarding vehicle status and needed repairs
Obtain customer approvals for recommended work
Answer phones and schedule appointments
Provide updates on repair progress and completion times
Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records
Follow up with customers as needed
Help maintain a positive customer experience from drop-off to pick-up
Ideal Candidate:
Has prior service advisor or service writer experience
Is organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Has strong customer service and communication skills
Works well with both customers and technicians
Is reliable, professional, and team oriented
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
