Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to lead our automotive service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality service while maintaining operational efficiency.
Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Manage and train service technicians in various automotive services, including oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, and diesel engine repairs.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote automotive services and products.
- Conduct auto estimating for repairs and maintenance, providing accurate quotes to customers.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the service area.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, fostering positive relationships with clients.
- Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies necessary for service operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall service delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive service management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes, including oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, diesel engine repair, and alignment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Proficient in sales techniques related to automotive services.
- Ability to transmit technical information clearly to both staff and customers.
