We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join our team at My Auto Grand Rapids. Our three brands are Nissan, Volkswagen and Mitsubishi. Our ideal candidate would have at least three year's experience working at a dealership or related field, have strong communication skills and knowledge of the automotive industry, and be able to thrive in a high-paced environment. This is a full-time position with full benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Answer customer calls and establish follow-up with service appointments.
- Utilize service scheduling system to manage team workload.
- Respond quickly to the internet, phone, and live chat inquiries using email, phone and live chat scripts and templates.
- Follow up with customers regarding recalls.
- Participate in team and process development sessions
- Keeping positive relationships with teammates, sales teams, and dealership management.
- Utilize CRM tracking system daily.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role within the automotive industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with automotive service processes, including air brake systems and diesel engine repair.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical information clearly to customers.
- A background in automotive service or as a Service Technician is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
