Duties
- Greet customers warmly, listen to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs to facilitate smooth service flow
- Explain repair recommendations clearly, providing detailed auto estimates and service options tailored to each customer’s vehicle and budget
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of services such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, alignments, suspension work, tire services, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repairs
- Upsell additional services by identifying customer needs for maintenance or repairs that enhance vehicle safety and performance
- Manage service writing tasks efficiently while maintaining accurate records of all transactions including cash handling when applicable
- Promote customer satisfaction through excellent communication, follow-up on vehicle status, and ensuring a positive experience from start to finish
- Stay informed about the latest automotive diagnostics tools and repair techniques to provide expert advice on mechanical issues
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or background in auto service management is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on mechanic experience or service technician background in automotive diagnostics and repair
- Familiarity with automotive systems such as transmissions, oil changes, auto body repair, air brake systems, alignment procedures, suspension work, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, brake systems
- Experience in auto estimating software and service writing processes to accurately assess repair costs
- Demonstrated ability in upselling services while maintaining integrity and customer trust
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to addressing client needs and concerns
- Knowledge of automotive sales techniques is a plus but not required; a passion for helping customers find the right solutions is essential

Pay: $62,057.12 - $84,735.45 per year
