Duties
- Manage the entire parts inventory lifecycle, including ordering, receiving, storage, and distribution to service departments and customers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), suppliers, and vendors to secure competitive pricing and reliable supply chains
- Utilize ERP systems, order management systems, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to track inventory levels, demand planning, and procurement activities
- Oversee warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, equipment repair, forklift operation, and warehouse safety protocols
- Implement demand forecasting strategies to optimize inventory control and reduce excess stock or shortages
- Coordinate with automotive service teams to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs and diagnostics
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to maximize cost savings while maintaining quality standards
- Lead efforts in sourcing hard-to-find OEM parts or auto body repair components through strategic procurement management
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations such as HVAC standards and equipment repair procedures
- Maintain accurate data entry records for all inventory transactions, purchase orders, and supplier communications
Experience
- Proven experience in dealership parts management or automotive supply chain roles with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics, auto body repair, and automotive service operations
- Familiarity with ERP systems like AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning tools used for inventory control and procurement management
- Hands-on warehouse experience including shipping & receiving procedures and forklift operation certification preferred
- Knowledge of sourcing strategies for OEM parts and familiarity with automotive repair processes
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent customer service abilities to foster supplier relationships and support dealership clients
- Mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems enhances ability to manage parts effectively
- Experience working with order management systems, CMMS platforms, or similar software is highly desirable
- Ability to perform data entry accurately while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
