Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all shop activities, ensuring smooth daily operations and high productivity levels.
- Supervise and motivate technicians, mechanics, and support staff to deliver outstanding vehicle repair and maintenance services.
- Maintain rigorous quality control standards for automotive repairs, auto body work, and vehicle restorations.
- Oversee inventory management of tools, parts, and equipment, including power tools and hand tools essential for automotive service tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards related to heavy lifting, tool handling, and vehicle repairs to uphold a safe working environment.
- Assign tasks effectively, and monitor workflow to meet customer deadlines efficiently.
- Foster excellent customer relationships by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring satisfaction with all services provided.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanic experience with strong mechanical knowledge across various automotive systems.
- Hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and other automotive repair equipment.
- Proficient with Mitchell Manager SE a plus.
- Able to direct the shop to perform smoothly with a focus on safety. Always leading by example.
- Able to join and work well with a team of hard working quality individual. Working as a cohesive team while managing the company. Comfortable being the boss without being bossy.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with staff and interact professionally with customers.
- Relevant certifications or training in automotive repair or related fields are preferred but not mandatory. Pay: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
