Seeking experienced GENERAL MANAGER who assumes responsibility and is accountable for customer satisfaction, coaching/leading team of 18 employees and profitability of departments. GM plans, motivates sales and coordinates activities of management team using sound business management practices.
GTC (est. 1969) is a medium/severe service/heavy duty Commercial Truck Dealer with 5 locations throughout central California. We represent International, Isuzu, Idealease and Cummins. - Salary + Commission. $140k - $200k+ (based on experience & performance)

Responsibilities:
- Run and manage all aspects of dealership pillars with hands on approach(DEPTS: Truck Sales, Lease/Rental, Service, Parts)
- Management & Coaching of dealership personnel. Recruiting, hiring, onboarding & developing.
- Complete store profit & loss responsibilities including expense control, GP and attainment of sales goals and bottom-line positive results.
- SALES & Growth of departments
- Territory: Goleta to Paso Robles, Grow market share results in truck, parts & service, lease/rental
- Maintain superior customer service through dealership top-notch culture
- Getting vehicles in service shop and out in timely manner
- Follow up & Follow Thorough
- Factory KPI’s, Customer service surveys
- Truck Parts inventory management & purchases, Service technician’s efficiency/productive % and warranty
- Maintain building facilities & safe environment
- Asset & inventory control.(equipment, tools, company vehicles)

Qualifications:
- Former Positions Held: Director, General Manager, VP, COO, Operations Manager, Executive.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, required. College degree, preferred.
- Management, Operations and Sales Experience, 5+ years
- Consistent track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Strong computer skills, Knowledge of ADP/CDK, preferred
- Minimum 5-7 years of diesel or automotive experience, preferred
- Expert communication ability & phone skills. Strong organization skills
- Ability to overcome challenges and find solutions
