Port Jervis Auto Mall (Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram) is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our growing team. We are looking for a customer-focused professional who can manage service workflow efficiently while delivering an exceptional experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Greet customers promptly and professionally in the service drive
- Accurately write and manage repair orders for customer pay, warranty, and internal work
- Clearly communicate recommended services and obtain customer authorization for repairs
- Work with manufacturer systems and third-party warranty companies to secure approvals
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of repairs
- Keep customers informed throughout the service process
- Ensure all documentation and paperwork is completed correctly and efficiently
- Manage multiple repair orders while maintaining strong attention to detail and time sensitivity
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior experience as a Service Advisor (automotive dealership experience required)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Understanding of warranty processes and repair order documentation
- A sense of urgency and commitment to delivering a high-quality customer experience
Preferred Experience:
- CDK experience
- XTime experience
- Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (CDJR) experience
