Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Used Car Salesperson to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving monthly sales targets by effectively communicating with customers, assessing their needs, and matching them with the right vehicle from our inventory of used cars. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, possess excellent communication skills, and have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets by selling 15 or more vehicles per month.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, understanding their needs and preferences.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of each vehicle to prospective customers, highlighting the unique selling points of each car.
- Conduct test drives and walk-arounds with customers to demonstrate the vehicle's features and functionality.
- Manage customer expectations and provide timely follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and beyond.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the used car market and be knowledgeable about the inventory of used cars on the lot.
- Ensure that all sales documentation is accurate and complete.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
