Job Description:
Honda Muskogee is seeking a qualified and experienced Parts Manager to lead the daily operations of our parts department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, overseeing parts staff, and ensuring efficient and profitable operations. This position requires a strong understanding of automotive parts operations and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all parts department functions including inventory control, ordering, and distribution
- Ensure accurate parts availability to support both service department and retail customers
- Maintain relationships with vendors and manage purchase orders, returns, and warranty parts
- Supervise, train, and schedule parts department staff
- Monitor department performance and implement improvements as needed
- Work closely with service and sales departments to support dealership operations
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization within the parts department
- Ensure compliance with all dealership and manufacturer policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Prior experience working in an automotive parts department required
- Management or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to use dealership management systems (DMS) and parts catalog software
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or business training a plus
