Our automotive service center needs a reliable Automotive Technician to join our team. Each Automotive Technician must have the experience necessary to provide our customers with optimum service. Qualified candidates should be organized, can prioritize duties, and have a strong work ethic. This is a full-time position with health, dental, vision, 401k, and paid time off benefits available.
Some responsibilities included, but not limited to:
· Receive repair orders from dispatchers and take to stall area.
· Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
· Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform accepted repairs.
· Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
· Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or the customer requests them to be saved.
· Examine each vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
· Advise the service advisor immediately if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
· Document all work performed.
· Road-test vehicles when required or refer them to the service manager or his/her designee to ensure work has been performed with quality.
· Attend factory sponsored training as directed by the service manager.
· Keep your designated area clean and safe.
· Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations.
*Must have a NH driver’s license and a NH State Inspection License.
