Location: Sioux City, IA
Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Saturday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Service Advisor to support daily service operations. This role is key in ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience by working closely with customers, technicians, and parts staff. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, problem-solver, and highly organized professional with experience in a service environment.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone regarding service needs
Schedule appointments, open work orders, and manage the service process from start to finish
Communicate with technicians to diagnose issues and track repair progress
Provide customers with updates, estimates, and obtain approvals for repairs
Coordinate with the parts department to ensure timely and accurate estimates
Work with outside vendors for specialized or subcontracted repairs
Support warranty claim processes and documentation
Help manage workflow, scheduling, and overall shop efficiency

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 3 years of service writing experience in a truck or automotive environment
Basic computer skills and familiarity with common office software
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
Proven ability to problem-solve and manage multiple priorities
