Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Used Car Salesperson to join our dynamic automotive sales team. In this role, you will be the key driver of our used vehicle sales, engaging with customers both in person and via outbound channels to showcase our inventory, build lasting relationships, and close deals. Responsibilities
- Actively engage with potential customers through outbound sales efforts such as follow-up communications to generate leads and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Present and demonstrate used vehicles to customers, highlighting features, benefits, and value propositions tailored to their needs.
- Negotiate prices, trade-in values, financing options, and deal terms confidently to close high-end sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Manage inventory effectively by coordinating with the dealership’s inventory control team and utilizing CRM software to track leads, follow-ups, and sales progress.
- Upsell additional products or services such as extended warranties, insurance packages, or accessories to maximize dealership revenue.
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette and communication skills during outbound calls and in-person interactions to foster trust and rapport with clients.
- Support marketing initiatives by participating in promotional events, public speaking engagements, or community outreach to attract new customers.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, local regulations, and industry standards while providing outstanding customer service throughout the sales process.
Experience
- Proven experience in automobile sales or retail sales with a strong understanding of used vehicle markets.
- Demonstrated success in outside sales, B2B (business-to-business) sales or high-end sales environments.
- Familiarity with CRM software for managing customer relationships and tracking sales activities effectively.
- Strong negotiation skills complemented by excellent organizational skills and retail math proficiency for calculating deals accurately.
- Experience with inventory management systems and inventory control processes is preferred.
- Multilingual abilities or bilingual skills are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases.
- Exceptional communication skills including public speaking, phone etiquette, and customer service excellence are essential for building client trust and loyalty. Pay: $48,455.11 - $250,000.00 per year
