Duties

Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document service requests.
Explain repair and maintenance procedures clearly, ensuring customers understand their options and the benefits of recommended services.
Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, brake repairs, suspension work, and transmission servicing to maximize customer satisfaction and dealership revenue.
Prepare detailed auto estimating and service writing reports using dealership management software.
Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and communicate updates to customers throughout the service process.
Handle cash transactions accurately and manage parts ordering or warranty claims when necessary.
Maintain thorough records of all service activities, customer interactions, and vehicle history for future reference.

Qualifications

Proven dealership experience or prior auto service management background is highly preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, transmissions, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, shocks & struts, wheel alignments, suspension systems, tire services, and auto body repair.
Experience working with service technicians on complex automotive repairs such as brake repair or auto estimating.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining a positive customer experience.
Familiarity with mechanic work or service technician experience is a plus; understanding of automobile sales is beneficial.
