In this role, you’ll be responsible for keeping the dealership lot organized, clean, and visually appealing, ensuring all vehicles are properly staged and ready for sale. This position plays a key part in our success, as the appearance and organization of our inventory directly influence customer impressions and sales. You will report directly to the Sales Managers.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- At least 1 year of experience as an auto detailer or similar role
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles
- Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques for various vehicle surfaces
- Ability to use a range of detailing equipment, such as pressure washers, polishers, and vacuums
- Good physical condition with the ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work outside in various weather conditions
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
- Ability to demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver's license
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under shop insurance policy (Not an excluded driver)
- Bilingual, (Preferred but not necessary)
Essential Duties, but not limited to:
- Perform detailed cleaning, polishing, and waxing of vehicles to a high standard of cleanliness and appearance
- Remove dirt, grime, and stains from vehicles using a range of cleaning products and equipment
- Vacuum and shampoo carpets and upholstery
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other interior surfaces
- Apply protective coatings to paint, leather, and other surfaces as required
- Inspect vehicles for damage or wear and report any issues to the supervisor
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Work efficiently to meet daily production targets
- Adhere to company safety protocols and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Salary Range: $16.90 to $18.00 hourly
