Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and energetic Lot Porter / Lot Attendant to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our dealership’s outdoor area, ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of vehicles on and off the lot. Responsibilities
- Safely move, park, and retrieve vehicles within the dealership lot, ensuring proper placement and organization
- Assist customers with vehicle arrivals and departures, providing friendly and professional guest services
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lot, including removing debris and ensuring clear pathways
- Conduct basic inspections of vehicles for any damages or issues before delivery or pickup
- Support delivery drivers with vehicle transportation around parking areas or to service areas as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding vehicle status and lot conditions
- Handle cash transactions or cashiering duties related to vehicle sales or rentals when required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dealership operations, retail, or hospitality is preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
- Ability to perform manual tasks such as moving vehicles, lifting moderate loads, and maintaining lot organization
- Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases
- Familiarity with parking regulations and procedures is beneficial
- Cash handling experience and basic retail math skills are desirable for transactional responsibilities
