Body Shop Parts Clerk/Manager
Gustafson Brothers Inc., located in beautiful Huntington Beach, is seeking an experienced body shop Parts Buyer/Manager with excellent customer service skills.
We are a highly successful Auto Body shop with over 55 years in the industry. We have several DRP accounts and an excellent reputation in the community, so we always have a steady stream of work.
Strong candidates will possess the following skills and qualities:
- 7+ years experience in auto body parts in a NON-DEALERSHIP environment
- Experience purchasing, receiving, and mirror matching parts
- The ability to work as a liaison between the parts department, production team, estimators and technicians
- Experience with CCC One and Opstrax
- Leadership skills and the ability to thrive in a team environment
- Excellent communication and people skills
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all parts are ordered, billed, and received accurately
- Verify that invoices match parts delivered
- Accurately process all credits for returned parts
- Keep techs, production & estimators updated with delivery times of critical parts
- Utilize the mirror matching technique when receiving parts from vendors
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Maintain a parts profit of 40+%
