Duties
- Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs.
- Explain recommended services clearly, including auto diagnostics, oil changes, brake repair, transmission work, suspension, tire service, alignment, shocks & struts, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, and auto body repairs.
- Prepare detailed auto estimating and service writing to ensure transparent communication of costs and timelines.
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services while maintaining high quality standards.
- Upsell additional services such as vehicle maintenance packages or accessories by highlighting benefits aligned with customer needs.
- Handle cash transactions professionally while maintaining accurate records of all service orders and payments.
- Foster excellent customer relationships through proactive communication, follow-up on vehicle status, and ensuring complete satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or auto service management background with a solid understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems including transmissions, brakes, suspension, tires, oil changes, and diesel engines.
- Experience in automotive repair shops or service technician roles with familiarity in auto estimating and service writing.
- Exceptional customer service skills combined with effective sales ability to upsell services confidently.
- Knowledge of automotive systems such as air brakes, alignments, shocks & struts, tire service, and auto body repair is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain detailed records of all transactions.
