Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, providing exceptional service from the moment they call.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate automotive services, including oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, alignments, suspension work, transmissions, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repairs.
- Schedule service appointments efficiently while managing the flow of customer traffic to maximize dealership productivity.
- Upsell additional services and maintenance packages by clearly explaining benefits to customers, enhancing their vehicle’s performance and longevity.
- Assist service technicians with estimating repair costs using auto estimating tools and ensure accurate documentation of work orders.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain detailed records of all customer interactions and sales activities.
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely vehicle repairs and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of automotive service management and repair processes.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Skilled in auto estimating software, service writing, and auto body repair processes.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
- Demonstrated ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining integrity and transparency with customers.
- Experience working with mechanic teams on various repairs including transmissions, oil changes, alignment, suspension, tire service, diesel engines, brakes, shocks & struts, air brakes, and more.
- Maintaining confidentiality and security standards.
