Duties
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs.
- Clearly explain service recommendations, estimates, and repair options with enthusiasm and transparency.
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmission work, tire services, suspension, alignments, shocks & struts, diesel engine repairs, air brake systems, auto body repairs, and other automotive diagnostics.
- Upsell additional services by highlighting benefits that meet customer needs while maintaining integrity.
- Prepare accurate service estimates using auto estimating software and document all work performed in the service writing system.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and foster ongoing relationships that encourage repeat business and automobile sales.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or automotive service management background is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and vehicle maintenance.
- Familiarity with auto estimating tools, service writing systems, and sales techniques related to automotive repair.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and confidently.
- Experience in upselling services such as oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, tire services, suspension work, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts replacement, air brake systems, auto body repairs, and other automotive diagnostics.
- Knowledge of dealership operations including cash handling and vehicle sales processes is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: $30,000.00 - $73,184.08 per year
