Duties

Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
Explain automotive diagnostics, repair options, and estimates clearly and transparently
Write detailed service orders, including auto estimating and recommended repairs such as transmissions, brake repair, oil changes, alignments, suspension work, tire services, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repairs
Upsell additional services and maintenance packages to maximize customer satisfaction and dealership revenue
Coordinate with mechanics and service technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of work
Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper documentation of all service activities
Maintain comprehensive records of customer interactions, vehicle history, and service write-ups for future reference

Experience

Proven dealership experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in auto service management
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs
Familiarity with automotive repair procedures including transmissions, oil changes, brake systems, alignments, suspension components, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repairs
Skilled in auto estimating software and service writing processes
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients
Experience in auto sales or automobile sales is a plus
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a lively environment
