We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to oversee our service department and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, along with excellent leadership and customer service skills. This role requires a proactive approach to managing service operations, ensuring that all repairs and services are performed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the service department, ensuring timely and quality automotive repairs.
Supervise service technicians and service advisors providing guidance on best practices. Arrange training to ensure technicians stay up to date on the latest technologies and procedures available.
Oversee the scheduling of service appointments and ensure proper workflow within the shop.
Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance overall satisfaction.
Collaborate with other departments to promote a seamless service experience for customers.
Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and diagnostics to provide informed recommendations.
Work with the Service Director and other service managers on a daily basis to maintain a steady flow of business and address any outstanding issues.

Skills

Strong background in the automotive management field.
Experience as a service advisor, shop foreman or service manager is needed.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and dealership personnel
Strong leadership abilities to manage a team of technicians and advisors while fostering a positive work environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
