Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. Your enthusiasm and mechanical knowledge will help guide clients through their service needs, recommend appropriate solutions, and ensure a seamless experience from start to finish. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Explain repair procedures, estimates, and recommended services clearly and transparently
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of work
- Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and transmission services to maximize customer satisfaction and dealership revenue
- Prepare detailed auto estimates using dealership management software and process all service writing documentation accurately
- Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently while maintaining accurate records
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or auto service management background preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures
- Experience in auto estimating, service writing, and upselling techniques
- Knowledge of automotive systems including transmissions, oil changes, brakes, suspensions, tires, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, alignments, auto body repair, and auto diagnostics
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain confidentiality of financial information
- Mechanical experience or background as a service technician is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Pay: $45,567.00 - $74,244.76 per year
