Overview
We are looking for a dynamic, articulate Automotive Service Manager / Site Manager to join our team. Prior Aftermarket automotive repair center experience is REQUIRED. Candidates must have experience managing a high-traffic service center (20+ cars per day).

Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the service team, including technicians, service writers, and advisors, to deliver exceptional customer service and efficient repairs
- The ability to communicate properly with customers to drive sales and car count
- Oversee daily shop operations, ensuring timely vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, suspensions, transmissions, and diesel engine repairs
- Manage service appointments, workflow scheduling, and parts inventory to optimize productivity and customer satisfaction
- Conduct quality control inspections on completed work to guarantee adherence to safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Drive revenue growth through strategic upselling of additional services like tire rotations, shocks & struts replacements, air brake servicing, auto body repairs, and auto estimating
- Handle customer inquiries professionally, resolve concerns promptly, and ensure a positive experience that encourages repeat business
- Maintain accurate service writing documentation and manage cash handling procedures with integrity
- Stay current with automotive industry trends and technical advancements to support ongoing staff training and development
Requirements
- Proven Aftermarket shop experience with a strong background in auto service management or automotive repair supervision
- Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, oil changes, tire services, alignments, auto body repair processes, air brake systems, shocks & struts, diesel engines, and related repair techniques
- Demonstrated ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining customer trust and satisfaction
- Experience working with auto estimating software and service writing tools
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team of technicians and service advisors
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and sales processes within a dealership environment
- Mechanical experience or technician background is highly desirable for understanding complex repairs and diagnostics

Pay: $75,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
