We are a growing and customer-focused automotive dealership group in the Chicagoland area seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDC Manager) to lead our sales development efforts and help take our dealership to the next level.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated leader with automotive dealership experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands how to turn internet leads, phone calls, and customer inquiries into sold vehicles.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage the dealership’s Business Development Center (BDC)
- Coach, motivate, and develop a team of BDC representatives
- Drive appointment-setting performance and showroom traffic
- Monitor lead handling, response times, and conversion metrics
- Ensure exceptional customer communication via phone, email, and text
- Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to maximize lead generation and ROI
- Implement processes to improve customer experience and sales performance
- Track KPIs, reporting, and team productivity
- Maintain CRM accuracy and accountability
What We’re Looking For
- Previous Automotive BDC Management experience REQUIRED
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Proven success managing internet leads and appointment conversions
- Experience with dealership CRM systems
- High energy, positive attitude, and strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
