Conforti Auto & Marine Detailing is seeking a skilled and motivated Paint Protection Film (PPF) Installer / Ceramic Coater & Automotive Detailer to join our growing team. We specialize in high-end detailing, ceramic coating, and PPF installations on vehicles, boats, RVs, and more. Position Overview
As a PPF Installer / Detailer, you will be responsible for:
- Performing expert-level installations of our premium STEK Paint Protection Film (PPF) using both bulk and plotter-cut patterns.
- Completing interior and exterior detailing, including vacuuming, upholstery cleaning, buffing, waxing, engine bay cleaning, and paint correction.
- Operating polishing machines, vacuums, pressure washers, and other detailing equipment with confidence and precision.
- Working on a wide variety of vehicles including cars, boats, motorcycles, jet skis, and RVs at our fully air-conditioned shop or at marinas and client locations.
- Ensuring vehicles are returned to customers in pristine, “as close to perfect” condition.
- Providing excellent customer service and contributing to a positive work environment.
- Maintaining tools, supplies, and cleanliness of work areas, while managing materials and inventory.
Qualifications
- Must have a Minimum of 2 years experience in PPF installation and buffing/paint correction is REQUIRED.
- Proficient in bulk and pattern-based installs (wrap/tuck edges, trimming, etc.).
- Comfortable using plotter systems (e.g., Graphtec FC9000-160) and PPF cutting software.
- Experience in paint correction, machine polishing, and use of industrial detailing tools.
- Capable of inspecting and maintaining cleanliness and quality control on all work performed.
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
- Valid Florida driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
Nice to Have
- Experience applying ceramic coatings.
- Experience working with boats, motorcycles, RVs, or luxury/high-end vehicles.
- Experience applying Paint Protection Film (PPF)
Schedule & Pay
- Full-time | 35–40 hours/week
- Monday–Friday (8:00 AM–5:00 PM)
- Occasional Saturdays (as needed)
- Closed on Holidays
- Pay: $15.00 – $19.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level can be more!
