Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Automotive Assistant Service Manager to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Assist the Service Manager in coordinating daily service department activities, including scheduling appointments and managing workflow.
- Supervise and support service technicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Engage with customers to understand their vehicle needs, provide clear explanations of repairs, and promote additional services through upselling techniques.
- Oversee vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmission work, tire services, suspension, alignment, shocks & struts, air brake systems, diesel engine repairs, and auto body repairs.
- Manage service writing and auto estimating to accurately document repairs and generate invoices.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accurate records.
- Support the dealership’s sales efforts by promoting automotive products and services that meet customer needs.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience with a strong background in auto service management.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures including transmissions, oil changes, brake systems, suspension components, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repair.
- Skilled in upselling additional services and vehicle accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
- Experience with auto estimating software and service writing processes.
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on mechanic experience or service technician background.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining detailed records.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
