Automotive Sales & Leasing Consultant
Full-time position; 5-day work week, scheduled approximately 43 hours per week. Must be available to work evenings and Saturdays.
We are seeking a Sales & Leasing Consultant to become a part of our Northfield Automotive team!
Core Responsibilities and Duties:
- Understanding Vehicles: Researching features, capabilities, and characteristics of vehicles
- Building Relationships: Maintaining rapport with new and existing customers based on their preferences, needs, and lifestyle.
- Matching Customers with Vehicles: Listening to customer needs, interests, and finding the right car model to match their preferences
- Demonstrating Vehicles: Explaining vehicle features, warranties and services, and taking customers on test drives
- Closing Sales: Negotiating the best price and offering finance options
- Providing Customer Service: Meeting sales targets and ensuring a great customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Completing Paperwork: Assisting with the necessary paperwork for a successful sale.
- Setting Up Showroom & Lot: Helping to set up, organize, and maintain showroom & lot including, promotional displays.
Compensation & Benefits:
Guaranteed salary position plus commissions. Average income is $60,000 - $75,000 annually with top performers earning $100,000 plus. Pay is just one part of the compensation package for employees. - 1 year experience in sales, customer service, or other related field
- Dealership experience
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Strong public speaking and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated strength in customer service, organization, and attention to detail with a focus on building rapport
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and respond quickly/re-prioritize changing needs
- Knowledge of sales management techniques and market trends
