Full-time position to work 5 days per week. Business hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 7:00am to 6:00pm & Saturday, 7:00am – 3:00pm
We are seeking a Service Advisor to become a part of our Northfield Automotive team!
Core Responsibilities and Duties:
- Oversee flow of the service drive to ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service
- Provide concierge support for all service inquiries, whether it be over the phone or in person to ensure a positive customer experience at our dealership.
- Obtaining customer and vehicle information
- Scheduling service appointments
- Clearly reporting all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
- Communicate with the parts department and service technicians to complete repairs
- Determining and recommending needed maintenance based on age, milage, and history of vehicle
- Prepare and complete accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
- Establish follow up time and communicate with customer(s). Keep them informed on completion times, service expenses, and possible changes.
- Review Multi-Point inspections
- Review Repair Orders (RO’S) to ensure work is completed
- Ongoing review and knowledge of manufacturer guidelines and products
- Monitor the progress of each vehicle and update customers frequently
- Verifying the final invoice reconciles with work performed on the repair order
- Explaining all completed work and charges to customers
- Obtain necessary legal authorizations and signatures
- Other duties as assigned by management
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay range is $60,000/annually - $110,000/annually. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience. Salary is just one part of the compensation package for employees.
