The Service Advisor is responsible for assisting customers with their service needs, coordinating appointments, and ensuring a seamless service experience. $65,000 - $80,000/year depending on experience

Responsibilities
Customer Interaction:
- Greet customers and identify their service needs
- Communicate with customers to understand vehicle issues and concerns
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive customer experience
Service Scheduling:
- Schedule service appointments and coordinate with the service department
- Ensure efficient allocation of service bays and technician resources
- Manage service calendars and appointment follow-ups
Vehicle Inspection:
- Conduct initial vehicle inspections to assess the condition and diagnose problems
- Communicate vehicle issues to customers, including cost estimates and repair options
- Ensure accurate documentation of vehicle details and service history
Service Recommendations:
- Recommend necessary repairs and maintenance based on vehicle inspections
- Explain recommended services to customers and answer their questions
- Provide cost estimates and obtain customer approvals for services
Service Process Management:
- Monitor the progress of vehicle repairs and service
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of work
- Keep customers informed of any delays or additional services required
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure service quality and accuracy
- Verify that repairs meet manufacturer and safety standards
- Address any customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
General Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Advisor
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial trucks and trailers
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Proficiency in using computer software for scheduling and documentation
- Experience with Excel, Word, and Google Workspace (strongly preferred)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check
- Clean driving record
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, reach, push/pull, grasp tools, lift/carry 50lbs
- Ability to work in outdoor and noisy environments
