Gregg Young Hortonville is searching for a skilled Used Vehicle Reconditioning Technician to join our TEAM at our Ford Dealership.

Used Vehicle Reconditioning Technician Requirements:
· Thoroughly inspect each vehicle following the dealership’s used vehicle inspection process to ensure all components & systems are functioning properly.
· Perform routine maintenance services as per the mfg. and/or dealership’s used vehicle process
· Record multi-point inspection video, visually showing pass/fail items and verbally explaining repairs needed.
· Effectively communicate directly with service advisor regarding repairs needed, status updates, and coordination of workflow.
· Stays up to date on technical changes, product developments, manufacturer releases, etc.
- Maintain a working knowledge of and keep up with the latest repair procedures using technical manuals and attendance of technical training and testing.
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive repair experience (preferred)
- Punctual & reliable. Positive attitude. Team player.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Must be computer literate, ability to be trained to use software systems and the willingness to learn.
- Ability to read and understand diagnostic equipment and codes.
- The ability to use and reference workshop manuals, technical service bulletins, diagrams, and schematics.
- Self-motivated to perform work efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate ability to follow detailed instructions, work independently and maintain accurate records.
- Ford Experience a plus, not required.
Used Vehicle Reconditioning Technician Employment Package:
Hours & Compensation
· 5-day work week M-F 8:00am to 4:30pm
· $75,000 - $125,000/yr. based on experience and productivity
