Gregg Young Hortonville is searching for a skilled Used Vehicle Reconditioning Technician to join our TEAM at our Ford Dealership.

Starting with our first dealership over 26 years ago and expanding to 12 dealerships spread throughout NE, IA, and WI, we aim to continue growing our business while simultaneously growing our people and their career paths all while holding true to our 4 Core Values: Ambition, Integrity, Execution, and Serves Others.

Used Vehicle Reconditioning Technician Requirements:

· Thoroughly inspect each vehicle following the dealership’s used vehicle inspection process to ensure all components & systems are functioning properly.

· Perform routine maintenance services as per the mfg. and/or dealership’s used vehicle process

· Record multi-point inspection video, visually showing pass/fail items and verbally explaining repairs needed.

· Effectively communicate directly with service advisor regarding repairs needed, status updates, and coordination of workflow.

· Stays up to date on technical changes, product developments, manufacturer releases, etc.

Maintain a working knowledge of and keep up with the latest repair procedures using technical manuals and attendance of technical training and testing.
Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive repair experience (preferred)
Punctual & reliable. Positive attitude. Team player.
Ability to communicate effectively with others.
Must be computer literate, ability to be trained to use software systems and the willingness to learn.
Ability to read and understand diagnostic equipment and codes.
The ability to use and reference workshop manuals, technical service bulletins, diagrams, and schematics.
Self-motivated to perform work efficiently and in a timely manner.
Demonstrate ability to follow detailed instructions, work independently and maintain accurate records.
Ford Experience a plus, not required.

Used Vehicle Reconditioning Technician Employment Package:

Hours & Compensation

· 5-day work week M-F 8:00am to 4:30pm

· $75,000 - $125,000/yr. based on experience and productivity
