Duties
- Assist in managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and timely replenishment using order management platforms.
- Coordinate with suppliers to source OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts, negotiate pricing, and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure quality parts at competitive prices.
- Oversee parts counter operations including shipping & receiving, storage organization, and equipment repair to maintain an efficient supply chain flow.
- Utilize automotive diagnostics knowledge to verify parts compatibility and support automotive service teams with technical sourcing needs.
- Support management activities by processing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and managing documentation within CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) platforms.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting internal teams with parts sourcing, order status updates, and resolving inventory discrepancies promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience within the automotive or manufacturing industries.
- Hands-on knowledge of automotive parts management, sourcing, and inventory control practices.
- Experience working with logistics, shipping & receiving procedures, and vehicle systems diagnostics.
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, HVAC systems, auto body repair parts, and OEM standards is highly desirable.
- Data entry skills coupled with attention to detail for accurate inventory tracking and demand planning.
