MetroWest Hyundai and Genesis of Framingham is currently looking for a high energy, tenured Service Advisor to join our team!
Responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Schedules service for customers either in person or on the phone to ensure a prompt and accurate diagnosis of any problems
- Follows up on status of repairs to ensure vehicle is ready when promised, informs customer in advance when car can’t be ready at the promised time, and obtains authorization from customers when repair estimates are revised
- Makes repair recommendations and manages delivery of repairs by setting and managing customer expectations
- Ensures that all completed repairs have gone through quality control and/or a road test
- Closes repair orders as payment is received
- Explains completed work and all charges to customers
- Implements a quality control process to eliminate comebacks
- Maintains high customer satisfaction index rating at or above manufacture and market
- Handles telephone and email inquiries regarding appointments and work in process
- Maintains a professional appearance
- Keeps work area clean
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages
Qualifications:
- Hyundai and/or Kia experience preferred .
- Organized and superior customer service skills.
- Previous Service Advisor experience required.
- Time management skills.
- Fantastic communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Manufacturer required Service Training.
- Must be computer savvy, including fluency with CDK, basic Microsoft Office knowledge, internet proficiency, and familiarity with state-of-the-art automotive computer software, CDK experience is a plus.
- Must demonstrate expertise in developing relationships and providing excellent CSI scores.
- Xtime experience preferred.
