We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Parts Manager to oversee the Parts Department for our Aston Martin dealership. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the timely procurement, inventory management, and distribution of genuine Aston Martin parts and accessories while delivering an exceptional ownership experience for our clients.
The ideal candidate combines strong operational leadership with a passion for luxury automobiles, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of inventory accuracy, efficiency, and customer service. Working closely with the Service, Sales, and Warranty teams, the Parts Manager plays a critical role in supporting dealership performance and upholding the Aston Martin brand experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all daily operations of the Parts Department, ensuring efficient workflows and exceptional customer service.
- Manage the complete parts inventory lifecycle, including forecasting, ordering, pricing, stocking levels, inventory control, and annual physical inventories.
- Source and procure genuine Aston Martin parts while maintaining strong relationships with OEM representatives and approved suppliers.
- Ensure the timely availability of parts for service repairs, warranty work, and vehicle preparation to minimize technician downtime.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels through effective demand planning, analysis, and inventory management best practices.
- Monitor and improve inventory accuracy, obsolescence, and departmental profitability through strategic purchasing and stock management.
- Oversee shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution processes while maintaining a clean, organized, and secure parts warehouse.
- Ensure compliance with Aston Martin manufacturer standards, dealership policies, and all applicable safety regulations.
- Collaborate closely with Service Advisors, Technicians, Sales Consultants, and the Collision Center to provide seamless internal support.
- Maintain accurate pricing, purchase orders, invoices, warranty returns, and inventory records within the dealership management system.
- Analyze departmental performance using key performance indicators (KPIs), implementing strategies that improve efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Recruit, coach, and develop Parts Department team members while fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Automotive Parts Manager, preferably within a luxury or premium automotive dealership.
- Strong understanding of automotive parts operations, inventory management, procurement, and warehouse logistics.
- Experience working with manufacturer parts catalogs and dealership management systems. Reynolds is a plus, but not required.
- Knowledge of manufacturer processes is highly desirable; experience with other luxury European brands will also be considered.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong negotiation and vendor relationship management abilities.
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills with the ability to build productive relationships across departments.
- Valid driver's license
