Job Summary
The workshop Administrator is responsible for planning,coordinating and supervising the admistrative and operating activities of the heavy equipment service workshop. This role ensure efficient workflow,optimal resource utilization, excellent customer service,and compliance with the manufacturer's standards and company policies.The position supports the maitenance and repair of premium heavy equipment brands equipped with the latest technologies.
Duties
- Coordinate and supervise all workshop activities related to heavy equipment maintenance, repairs, and servicing to ensure timely completion and high-quality standards.
- Scredule preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Manage work orders,service documentation,and maintenance records
- Coordinate with Parts,Warranty,Sales department to ensure parts availability.
- Monitor technicians productivity, labor utilization and workshop performance indicators
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer procedures,quality standard, and safety regulations.
- Prepare service estimates,repairs quotations,and customer report.
- Follow up on equipment status and communicate repair progress with customers.
- Support warranty claims administration according to manufacturer requirements.
- Control workshop inventory , tools ,and equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance history and techical documentation
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency
- Ensure a clean , organized and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering,Industrial Engineering,Business Administration,or a related field. Technical education combined with relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in workshop adminitration or heavy equipment service operations.
- Experience working with heavy construction mining,agricultural or industrial equipment.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and repair process.
- Experience using ERP system and workshop management software.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office , particularly Excel.
Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
