Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dealership Parts Manager to lead our powersports parts department. In this pivotal role, you will oversee inventory management, supplier relationships, and procurement processes to ensure seamless parts availability for our dealership. Your expertise will drive operational efficiency, enhance customer satisfaction, and support our commitment to automotive excellence.
Duties
- Manage the entire parts inventory system, including ordering, stocking, and tracking powersports parts and accessories using inventory management systems such as Lightspeed EVO
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate pricing, sourcing parts efficiently, and ensure timely delivery of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts.
- Oversee warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, logistics inventory management, and equipment repair to optimize storage space and streamline workflows.
- Utilize automotive diagnostics knowledge to assist with parts sourcing for vehicle repairs and service needs.
- Implement demand planning strategies to forecast parts needs accurately and prevent stock shortages or overstock situations.
- Coordinate with the automotive service department to ensure parts availability aligns with repair schedules and customer requirements.
- Lead procurement management efforts by evaluating supplier performance, managing purchasing activities, and maintaining accurate parts administration records.
- Use internal communication tools and data entry processes to facilitate smooth order management system operations and ensure precise inventory control.
Experience
- Proven experience in dealership parts management or powersport supply chain roles with a strong understanding of parts and accessories.
- Demonstrated supplier management experience with negotiation skills that secure favorable pricing and sourcing agreements.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems such as Lightspeed EVO, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation purposes.
- Hands-on warehouse experience including shipping & receiving, forklift operation certification, and logistics inventory management.
- Knowledge of diagnostics, vehicle systems, auto body repair processes, OEM parts sourcing, and automotive repair procedures.
- Experience working within dealership environments or in roles involving procurement management, demand planning, and parts administration.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with excellent internal communication skills to coordinate across departments effectively.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
