We are looking for a dependable and motivated Lot Technician to join our dealership team. The Lot Technician is responsible for keeping the vehicle inventory organized, clean, presentable, and ready for customers. This is a hands-on position that is ideal for someone who enjoys working around vehicles and takes pride in keeping things organized.
Responsibilities
- Move and park vehicles throughout the dealership lot and service areas
- Pick up and deliver vehicles as needed
- Keep new and used vehicle inventory organized and properly positioned
- Wash, clean, fuel, and prepare vehicles for display and customer delivery
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any issues or damage
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dealership lot
- Assist sales and service departments with vehicle movement and other lot-related needs
- Retrieve and deliver vehicles as needed
- Install license plates, floor mats, or other basic vehicle accessories
- Maintain keys and ensure vehicles are parked in the appropriate locations
- Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to safely operate and maneuver vehicles of various sizes
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Previous automotive, dealership, detailing, or lot experience is a plus, but not required
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday
