Salary Depends on Experience within range of $100,000–$160,000/year (Guaranteed Income + Commission)
Key Responsibilities
- Hire, train, supervise, and develop service department personnel
- Oversee daily service department operations for maximum efficiency and productivity
- Set and achieve departmental performance objectives
- Assist with annual operating budgets and marketing plans
- Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve concerns promptly and professionally
- Evaluate customer needs and recommend appropriate service options
- Keep customers updated throughout the service process
- Maintain follow-up processes that drive repeat and referral business
- Enforce safety policies and ensure regulatory compliance
- Partner with fixed operations leadership to hit department goals
- Stay current on new products, features, and service developments
- Promote a positive, professional, customer-focused service environment
Requirements
- 3+ years of automotive dealership experience, preferably in service operations
- Previous experience as a Service Manager, Service Director, Assistant Service Manager, or similar
- Experience with Stellantis brands (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Maserati)
- Experience hiring, training, and developing service personnel
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, process-driven environment
