California Motors Direct, a locally owned and operated automotive group, is seeking an experienced motivated Automotive Salesperson to guide customers through the vehicle buying process, build lasting relationships, and achieve sales goals with integrity transparency and care.
Walk in interviews are happening now Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with no appointment needed. Responsibilities include greeting customers on the showroom or sales lot and providing professional assistance, identifying customer needs by asking questions and listening carefully, helping customers select vehicles and recommending alternatives when needed, maintaining current knowledge of inventory vehicle features technology accessories and industry terminology, providing thorough vehicle presentations and product demonstrations, offering and coordinating test drives per dealership procedures, maintaining high customer satisfaction throughout the sales process, using dealership sales CRM and follow up systems to manage prospects, ensuring the Sales Manager has an opportunity to meet each customer, maintaining knowledge of applicable federal state and local retail automotive sales requirements, explaining vehicle values equity and depreciation when appropriate, transitioning completed sales to the Finance Manager and ensuring paperwork is complete, coordinating vehicle preparation before delivery including cleanliness fuel and feature checks, delivering sold vehicles and explaining operating features warranties and paperwork, introducing customers to the Service Department and helping schedule the first service appointment, following up on post delivery items including registration title matters we owes and special requests, maintaining an active prospect development and follow up process, attending required in person and remote sales meetings, helping maintain a clean organized professional sales environment, completing sales orders and related paperwork according to dealership procedures, reviewing sales activity with the Sales Manager to identify improvement opportunities, and maintaining a professional appearance.
Located in Santa Ana CA at 2345 N Grand Ave with easy access via Orange County roadways, enjoy quick commutes from surrounding communities including Irvine Anaheim Tustin Orange and the greater Los Angeles metro area. Santa Ana offers a central OC location with dining shopping and a strong automotive retail market.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent required, a minimum of 6 months of verifiable dealership sales experience required, a valid California Vehicle Salesperson License required, a valid driver’s license and eligibility for coverage under the company’s insurance policy, bilingual skills preferred but not required, strong communication and customer service skills, the ability to multitask in a fast paced sales environment, a team oriented flexible professional and results driven approach, authorization to work in the United States, and the ability to satisfy pre employment requirements which may include background motor vehicle record and drug screening. References may be requested.
