About Us
We are a fast-paced, growing Buy Here Pay Here (BHPH) dealership dedicated to getting quality cars on the road. We take immense pride in our inventory and customer experience. We are looking for a sharp, high-energy, and dependable Automotive Porter / Lot Attendant to join our team.
No previous dealership or technician experience? No problem! We will gladly train the right candidate. If you have a great attitude, strong work ethic, an eye for detail, and know how to get things done without being micromanaged, this is the place for you. There is significant room for growth and opportunity here for someone who takes pride in their work.
What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)
- Lot & Inventory Presentation: Ensure all vehicles on the lot are clean, lined up neatly, fully detailed, and ready for customers at all times.
- Quality & Detail Inspection: Spot the little things—dirty seats, low tire pressure, missed smudges, or dead batteries—and fix them before a customer sees them.
- Vehicle Movement & Transport: Safely drive and move vehicles around the lot, transport cars to local vendors or service partners, and run dealership errands.
- Basic Maintenance Support: Jump-start dead batteries, fill tires with air, change flat tires, top off fluids, and keep inventory lot-ready in all weather conditions.
- Computer & Check-In Tasks: Use basic computer software to check in vehicle arrivals, track inventory status, print stock tags, and update simple logs.
- Teamwork & Task Execution: Work directly with management to execute daily tasks thoroughly—taking ownership of assignments from start to finish.
- General Dealership Support: Help keep the overall lot and work areas tidy, assist other departments when needed, and handle any other tasks necessary as directed by management to keep operations running smoothly.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean driving record and be comfortable driving both automatic and manual (stick shift) transmissions.
- High Energy & Reliability: A positive, "get-it-done" attitude with strong follow-through on every task assigned.
- Flexibility & Initiative: Willingness to jump in and complete any task requested by management, even if it falls outside routine daily duties.
- Eye for Detail: High standards for cleanliness and organization—you notice the details others miss.
- Teachable & Willing to Learn: We don't care if you've never worked at a dealership before; we care about your work ethic and willingness to absorb training.
- Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable using desktop software, looking up information, and logging updates.
- Strong Communication: Great interpersonal skills and ability to work seamlessly with our sales and service team.
- Physical Stamina: Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, standing/walking for extended periods, and doing light manual tasks (jump-starting cars, handling tire changes).
Why Join Us?
- Weekly Pay: Reliable salary paid out weekly.
- Growth Opportunity: We promote from within! Show us drive, reliability, and detail, and we will help you advance into higher roles within the dealership.
- Great Culture: A supportive team environment where hard work and high energy are recognized and rewarded.
