Position Summary:
The Automotive Service Manager will oversee the daily operations of the service department, manage a team of technicians, ensure timely and efficient vehicle repairs, and uphold the highest standards of customer care. This leadership role is key to maintaining our service excellence and fostering a productive, positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise service department staff
- Ensure customer satisfaction through exceptional service and timely communication
- Coordinate repair schedules, parts ordering, and workflow to maximize efficiency
- Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements as needed
- Maintain compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Handle customer concerns or complaints with professionalism and resolution-focused solutions
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall business goals
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Service Manager or similar role
- Strong technical background and understanding of automotive repair procedures
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in service software systems
- ASE Certification or equivalent is preferred
