SPIRIT MOTORCYCLES TRIUMPH SAN JOSE
Motorcycle Sales Consultant Sell the Bikes You Love at the Bay Area's #1 Motorcycle Dealership
Full-time | On-site, San Jose, California | Base + Commission
#1 Bay Area Volume Leader — 98% CSI 6 Brands Top 2 on the West Coast Indian Motorcycle | Triumph | Aprilia | Moto Guzzi | Royal Enfield | Can-Am Spyder & Ryker
ABOUT THE ROLE
Spirit Motorcycles is the official Silicon Valley dealer for six of the most exciting brands on two and three wheels — Indian Motorcycle, Triumph, Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Royal Enfield, and Can-Am Spyder and Ryker. We are the number one motorcycle dealership in the Bay Area by volume, ranked first or second on the entire West Coast for most of the brands we carry, and we hold a 98% CSI score that reflects how seriously we take every customer interaction.
We are looking for a Motorcycle Sales Consultant who brings genuine enthusiasm for the product, a disciplined approach to the sales process, and the instinct to build lasting relationships with riders. This is not a role for someone who waits for ups to walk in the door. It is a role for someone who works the floor, follows up relentlessly, and takes personal ownership of every deal from first contact to delivery.
You will work across six premium brands, which means you will need to become fluent in a wide and varied lineup — everything from the Royal Enfield Meteor to the Triumph Speed Twin to the Indian Challenger. The variety is a strength: there is almost always a bike in the building for the customer in front of you.
WHY THIS SEAT MATTERS
- You will represent six of the most compelling motorcycle brands available today, with a lineup that covers commuters, adventure riders, cruiser enthusiasts, and everything in between. You will work at the highest-volume motorcycle operation in the Bay Area, which means more traffic, more deals, and more opportunity to earn. You will be part of a team that takes the work seriously — the 98% CSI is not a marketing number, it is a standard we hold ourselves to every day. You will have a real career path in a dealership that promotes from within and invests in people who perform.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Floor Presence and Pipeline Development Greet, qualify, and engage every customer who walks through the door — new riders, returning enthusiasts, and trade-in shoppers alike. Maintain an active prospect pipeline through consistent follow-up on leads, previous inquiries, and lapsed customers. Work showroom events, demo days, and rides to develop relationships outside the traditional sales environment.
Product Knowledge and Brand Fluency: Develop deep knowledge of all six brands in the lineup: model differences, riding positions, performance specs, and ideal rider profiles. Complete OEM training programs and certifications as required by each manufacturer. Stay current on new model launches, pricing changes, and OEM promotions across all brands.
The Sales Process: Follow a consistent, customer-first sales process from meet-and-greet through demo, negotiation, and handoff to F&I. Present trade-in valuations professionally and work with the Sales Manager to structure competitive deals. Set accurate delivery expectations and personally manage the delivery experience — every bike goes out clean, with a proper walkthrough. Log all customer interactions and follow-up activity in the CRM daily, without exception.
CSI and the Post-Sale Relationship Reach out to every customer within 48 hours of delivery to confirm satisfaction and address any questions. Monitor your CSI scores and act on feedback — a 98% dealership standard means every salesperson is expected to carry their weight. Build a book of business: referrals, repeat purchases, and long-term rider relationships are the measure of success in this role.
WHO YOU ARE
- A motorcycle rider or enthusiast who can speak authentically about the product and connect with riders of all experience levels. A proven sales professional — powersports, automotive, or another high-involvement product — with a track record of hitting and exceeding targets. Disciplined with your follow-up: you do not let leads go cold, and you track your pipeline like it is your own business. Comfortable presenting trade-in values, financing options, and accessories as part of a natural conversation, not a script. A team player who communicates openly with Service, Parts, F&I, and the Sales Manager — you know that the best deals are won with the whole house working together. Coachable and competitive: you want feedback, you use it, and you want to be at the top of the board.
WHAT WE OFFER
- A draw system - hourly or commission structure (whichever is the highest), designed to reward strong performers, with real upside for consultants who build a pipeline and work it. The highest-volume motorcycle platform in the Bay Area, with six premium brands and a steady flow of traffic. OEM training and certification across all brands in the lineup. A close-knit team that takes the work seriously without taking itself too seriously. A clear path to advancement for people who perform — we promote from within.
READY TO RIDE?
If you love motorcycles, have a hunger to sell, and want to do it at the best shop in the Bay Area, we want to hear from you. Send your résumé and a short note about why this role fits you and what numbers you have moved. We review applications on a rolling basis and respond to every candidate we meet with.
