Position Overview
Broadway Powersports is seeking a driven and experienced General Manager to oversee and direct all dealership operations. This role is responsible for leading the Sales, Service, Parts, and Finance & Insurance (F&I) departments while ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and an exceptional customer experience.
We are looking for a motivated leader with strong business acumen, industry knowledge, and a proven ability to build high-performing teams and deliver measurable results.
Core Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Direct and coordinate daily operations across all dealership departments.
Ensure full compliance with manufacturer standards, company policies, and legal requirements.
Develop and refine processes to improve efficiency, accountability, and overall performance.
Oversee inventory management to maintain appropriate stocking levels and healthy turn rates.
Team Leadership & Development
Recruit, develop, and manage department leaders and staff.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and lead regular leadership meetings.
Sales & Customer Satisfaction
Establish sales objectives and monitor performance metrics across departments.
Implement strategies that enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
Maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and vendors to maximize support and incentives.
Actively engage with key customers to strengthen the dealership’s reputation and brand presence.
Financial Oversight
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Drive profitability across all revenue streams, including unit sales, service, parts, and F&I.
Marketing & Community Engagement
Collaborate with marketing to execute promotions, events, and digital initiatives that increase traffic and brand awareness.
Represent Broadway Powersports within the community and at regional or national industry events.
Qualifications
Minimum of five years of management experience in a powersports, automotive, or RV dealership environment.
Proven leadership success in retail sales and service operations.
Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and inventory control.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
Passion for the powersports industry with solid product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn.
Proficiency in dealership management systems (DMS), CRM platforms, and Google Drive.
