Job Overview:
The General Manager oversees all facets of a Store location, focusing on maintaining high standards in customer satisfaction, quality control, performance, and efficiency. This role is crucial for achieving excellent operational and financial results. Responsibilities include managing all business activities, fostering staff development, boosting efficiency, driving sales and revenue, cultivating client relationships, enhancing the organization's reputation, and meeting growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, onboard, schedule, coach, and performance-manage employees.
- Oversee daily store operations (opening/closing, showroom standards, inventory/service flow, policy compliance).
- Maintain accurate financial/operational records; monitor KPIs (sales, margins, COGS, labor, inventory turns, CSAT/NPS).
- Build customer relationships, resolve issues, and ensure excellent service pre- and post-sale.
- Use CRM for pipeline management, follow-ups, and accurate customer data.
- Manage budgets and costs; implement efficiency improvements.
- Set/track departmental goals aligned to store targets and company strategy.
- Execute local marketing plans to grow traffic and revenue.
- Allocate, track, and verify orders for new trailer sales; collect deposits/final payments; guide customers through documents.
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 10 year's experience with proven success as a General Manager or similar multi-function leadership role.
- Hands-on experience managing multiple departments (sales,service, and parts) within a customer-facing environment.
- Background in powersports, automotive, trailer, or heavy equipment sales strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in P&L ownership, budgeting, and financial performance management.
- Exceptional people leadership. Able to recruit, coach and retain high performing teams.
- Strategic planning capability, translating company goals into clear operational and departmental action plans.\
- Proficient in CRM systems, POS Platforms and standard business software
- Strong understanding of inventory management and Logistics
- Knowledge of marketing and local promotional strategies to drive customer traffic and brand awareness
- High integrity, professionalism, and strong work ethic
- Results-oriented, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Education: BSc/BA in Business or related field (or equivalent experience). MSc/MA a plus.

Salary + Bonus: $85,000-$110,000/year
