A privately held, high-volume metropolitan automotive organization is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead large-scale dealership operations with a strong emphasis on sales performance, revenue growth, and execution in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate has a proven background managing high-traffic, high-volume dealerships and consistently delivering results in competitive metro markets.
The Role
- Provide strategic and hands-on leadership across all core dealership operations
- Direct and optimize high-volume new and used vehicle sales departments
- Drive revenue growth, market share, and profitability in a competitive metro market
- Establish aggressive sales objectives, monitor daily performance, and execute corrective action
- Lead, mentor, and hold senior sales leadership and department heads accountable for results
- Implement effective pricing, inventory, and promotional strategies aligned with market demand
- Maintain strong relationships with OEM partners, key accounts, and strategic vendors
- Ensure operational discipline, process compliance, and a performance-driven culture
The Candidate
- Extensive senior leadership experience within high-volume automotive dealerships
- Demonstrated success driving sales growth, CSI, and profitability in metro markets
- Strong commercial acumen with hands-on, floor-level sales leadership experience
- Proven ability to lead large teams in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Leads by example with a visible, daily, hands-on management approach
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and accountability
