A well-established, high-performing highline automotive dealership is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead overall operations and drive the next phase of growth. This is a confidential search for a proven automotive executive with a strong track record in luxury or premium brand environments.
Position Overview
The General Manager will have full P&L responsibility and oversee all dealership operations, including Sales, Fixed Operations, Finance, and Administration. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance performance, culture, and exceptional customer experience while maintaining the highest standards of brand representation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across all departments
- Drive profitability, revenue growth, and operational efficiency
- Recruit, develop, and retain top-tier management and staff
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and brand experience
- Maintain compliance with OEM standards, legal regulations, and internal controls
- Analyze financial statements, KPIs, and market data to guide decision-making
- Foster a performance-driven, professional, and ethical dealership culture
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive automotive management experience; General Manager or senior leadership experience REQUIRED
- Background in highline or luxury automotive brands required
- Demonstrated success in improving profitability, CSI, and employee engagement
- Strong financial acumen with full P&L oversight experience
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Stable career history with a reputation for integrity and professionalism
