Job Summary:

My Lakeshore Subaru is looking for a General Manager to lead our dealership team. My Lakeshore Subaru is the largest Subaru dealership in the state of Michigan, and has been providing an excellent customer experience since our move to Nunica, Michigan. We recently celebrated our 1 Year Anniversary of being in our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility, and are looking for a leader that inspires our My Lakeshore Subaru team and shares our My Auto Group core values.

Responsibilities:

Lead, motivate and direct the dealership management team
Ensure that all team members of your dealership fully understand, support, and embrace the My Auto Group core values and initiatives for continuous improvement
Report to appropriate members of The My Auto Group senior management staff

What you’ll do on a typical day:

Manage all departments of the dealership
Meet with Service Manager, Sales Managers and Controller
Monitor vehicle sales, parts sales and service performance
Grow new and preowned sales market share
Review dealership performance vs industry KPI’s for best performance

What you will need to succeed:

Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements
A demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
Ability to perform short- and long-range planning
Works effectively and relates well with others including superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company.
Exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others and works to maintain constructive working relationships.
Demonstrated track record in achieving excellent quality and safety results
