Zimmerman Truck Repairs, Inc. is currently in search of a highly motivated Service Writer to join our team. You will be an integral part of the day-to-day operations as we provide best-in-class service to the Zimmerman Truck Lines fleet and all of our outside customers.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that customers and drivers are greeted with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Prepare detailed repair order write-ups.
- Assist in preparing repair estimates.
- Open, review, and close repair orders.
- Prepare invoices.
- Schedule appointments.
- Update customers with the status of their repairs.
- Assist with customer inquiries.
- Prepare warranty claims.
- Work closely with the GM of Maintenance and Foremen to maintain an efficient flow of work through our facility.
Qualifications:
- Must be a well-organized self-starter.
- Excellent communication skills (phone, email, text, etc.) and customer service skills.
- Strong computer skills are a must.
- Minimum 1 year of Service Writing experience or experience in a relatable field such as Diesel or Automotive Technician.
- Must possess a valid PA driver's license and be able to meet company auto insurability standards.
