Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Automotive Parts Manager to lead our parts department with enthusiasm and expertise. Duties
- Manage the end-to-end supply chain process for automotive parts and sublet, including sourcing, purchasing, and inventory control to meet operational demands.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) suppliers and other vendors to ensure reliable supply and competitive pricing.
- Oversee warehouse management activities such as shipping & receiving, storage optimization, and equipment repair to maximize efficiency.
- Utilize CCC One estimating and repair planning software
- Coordinate with automotive service teams to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs and maintenance while managing demand planning accurately.
- Implement pricing strategies and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms that benefit the organization’s bottom line.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards related to warehouse operations .
- Maintain meticulous data entry records for inventory management, procurement activities, and shipping & receiving logs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in logistics processes to enhance customer service levels internally and externally.
Requirements
- Proven experience in supply chain management within the automotive industry or dealership environment.
- Working knowledge of automotive diagnostics, auto body repair supplies, OEM parts sourcing, and automotive service procedures.
- Demonstrated ability in procurement management, negotiation skills, and demand planning for automotive parts.
- Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and inventory control processes.
- Customer service orientation combined with effective communication skills for supplier negotiations and internal collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety compliance. Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
